belated


I am SO behind on my updates
I saw many many coolz people at Glebe!
(ahem six foot model with tartan skirt and another one of those studded jumpers. STUDDED! and embroidered)
but due to a series of unfortunate events the day was curtailed

no fear! I'm late on my update from the last two excursions
mainly the Launch Party at High Tea with Mrs Woo
Fashion Week along Paddington
& stumbling upon Edit



I know. I have died and gone to furniture heaven.

I love the way they pieced together every details to create such an exuberant atmosphere
furnitures are not just furnitures. Here they are leaping out of the room, they are bubbling with attitude, with life
it's something you'd want to keep forever and ever


all the textiles are made by them, panted and used to upholster vintage furnitures

for Na'an's birthday (the FIRST of her many birthday related dinner excursions)
under the foodistic directions of me boss Ben
we went to Vamps at Five Ways :






My Starter : Escargots gratine a'l'ail

Pate maison- vamps famous chicken liver pate with gherkin!

Her Main Crepes aux fruits de mer (with scallops, prawns, fish) in a prawn bisque sauce

dessert is mousse au chocolat avec blood orange sorbet


we went back after a few days to check out the neighbourhood and stumbled upon this authentic french patisserie !

we suffered from the form of anxiety attack one suffers from an over abundance of decadence

My Starter : Poached Ocean Trout, capsicum ragoût, balsamic reduction & fennel sauce





her starter Mussels “Sakamushi” style
intense aroma of sakae

her main Japanese style crab risotto
my seconds
Hand made fettuccine with black truffle

and finally my main
Wagyu minute steak, caramelised onion, garlic butter & French fries
(I must protest that i am not a pig I ordered sthe $65 dollars degustation though I have to say all the courses were so generous they felt like mains!)
