I saw many many coolz people at Glebe!
(ahem six foot model with tartan skirt and another one of those studded jumpers. STUDDED! and embroidered)
but due to a series of unfortunate events the day was curtailed
no fear! I'm late on my update from the last two excursions
mainly the Launch Party at High Tea with Mrs Woo

& stumbling upon Edit

for Na'an's birthday (the FIRST of her many birthday related dinner excursions)
under the foodistic directions of me boss Ben
we went to Vamps at Five Ways :
My Starter : Escargots gratine a'l'ail
Pate maison- vamps famous chicken liver pate with gherkin!
Her Main Crepes aux fruits de mer (with scallops, prawns, fish) in a prawn bisque sauce
dessert is mousse au chocolat avec blood orange sorbet
we went back after a few days to check out the neighbourhood and stumbled upon this authentic french patisserie !
spotted: a UFO flan !
we suffered from the form of anxiety attack one suffers from an over abundance of decadence
oh la la ~
must go back for the bread!
vegetable cake
stuffed zucchini flower with minced beef!
a very zingy citron tarte
ENORMOUS paella pans at chef's warehouse
it's like we're the oompaloompas in Wonka's kitchen with ENORMOUS whisks and pans in every size
sonoma is opening in Five ways!
tiny in-between!
'if you can't afford to live in the big ones you can always cramp up in the tiny one! '
run run as fast as you can! the chicken will PECK!
The second birthday dinner excursion : BlancHaru
My Starter : Poached Ocean Trout, capsicum ragoût, balsamic reduction & fennel sauce
her starter Mussels “Sakamushi” style
intense aroma of sakae
her main Japanese style crab risotto
my seconds
Hand made fettuccine with black truffle
and finally my main
complements of the chef! Strawberry soufflé, milk ice cream
and freshly baked petite madeleine to dieeeee forrrrr
in every alleyway is a sprinkle of magic
I'm still trying to get the hang of this blog
